Vom 21. bis zum 24. Juni 2012 wird Karlsruhe in der Hochschule für Gestaltung und dem Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie mit dem 3D-Symposium BEYOND zum Brennpunkt der Pionierarbeit in der Stereoskopie. Das Symposium ist die Fortführung des im Mai 2011 erfolgreich durchgeführten 3D-Festivals BEYOND und versammelt die wichtigsten nationalen und internationalen Wegweiser und Innovatoren des stereoskopischen 3D, wie z.B. Jeffrey Shaw, Aljoscha Smolic, Gundolf S. Freyermuth, Lisa Gotto und Vibeke Sorensen, um in Vorträgen und Podiumsdiskussionen im Bereich TV, Art, Science, Storytelling und Education neue Inhalte und Anwendungsformen für die Zukunftstechnologie zu entwickeln und weiter voranzutreiben. Diese verschiedenen Themenbereiche bilden die Basis eines aussergewöhnlichen 3D-Erlebnisses, wobei die Vermittlung und der Austausch von Kenntnissen, anhand von Workshops und Vorträgen im Mittelpunkt des Symposiums stehen.
Das 3D-Symposium BEYOND wird allen Teilnehmern neue Blickwinkel auf die dritte Dimension eröffnen und wir freuen uns auf eine zahlreiche Teilnahme!

From June 21st until 24th in 2012, Karlsruhe will be the focal of a pioneer work. It is going to be the continuation of the successfully conducted 3D-Festival BEYOND, gathering the most important national and international signposts and innovators of stereoscopic 3D, such as Jeffrey Shaw, Aljoscha Smolic, Gundolf S. Freyermuth, Lisa Gotto and Vibeke Sorensen, featuring workshops and lectures to impel new contents next to application devices in the area of TV, art, science, storytelling and education within this future technology. These different topic areas build the bases of an unusual 3D experience, while the focus of the symposium will refer to the intermediation and transfer of knowledge with help of discussions and lectures.
The 3D-Symposium BEYOND will offer new perspectives regarding the third dimension and we are looking forward to your participation!
